Dear Adam,
I am just writing to say “thank you” to you and all of your team for the first class job that you’ve done on the house. From when you first arrived here, to do the first pieces of work (making the extra storage area in the eaves) until you had finished all of the major works downstairs – removing the chimney breast, converting the two rooms into one and laying the new floor – I, and all of my neighbours and visitors, have been extremely impressed by your professionalism, speed and thoroughness.

Something that everyone has remarked on has been the way in which, however dirty the work was (and taking down the chimney breast certainly produced more than its fair amount of dust and dirt!), you all took great care to tidy up at the end of each day. Over the years I’ve used a number of builders and I have to say that “Ultimate” have impressed me the most – by far – in this respect. Building works always cause disruption, but the fact that you have all done your utmost to let the house remain a home as much as was possible was a great benefit. The fact that you have been ready to take on my ideas as the works have progressed, and made them a reality, has made the whole process a lot easier – the end result speaks for itself.

As you know I have recommended you to a number of my neighbours already, and I would have no hesitation in doing so to anyone who asked me for the name of a good, reliable building company. I hope that – even in these difficult times – you continue to flourish, and I wish you the very best: you certainly deserve it!
